We are an independent clothing and lifestyle label with core values on Sustainability, Community, and Innovation. Handcrafted locally in New York City and the Dominican Republic, our brand's integrity is rooted in a wholesome approach from concept through production. We work within a small network of independent industry makers with a versatile yet dedicated approach to design garments and items that support the purpose of functionality, comfort, and style in fashion and life.

In a world where fast fashion and large corporations have polluted the planet we place our efforts in slowing down the rate of consumption by creating timeless goods that are made intentionally to last, be loved, and ultimately repurposed.

Scope
handMade in small scale batches
All of the items developed at NMBR 09 are produced and sourced in handmade small batch quantities. Meaning each item is given special care and attention from conception all the way through to packaging. From our garments, candles, collaborations, and accessories everything is one of a kind and we like it that way.
Dead stock Zero waste Design Method
Using versatile design methods we focus on having little to no waste in our production cycle. We source eco-friendly dead stock fabric to avoid it from ending up in a landfill. Our goal is to create items that become essentials in your wardrobe that evolve with you over time and can be worn and styled in various ways.
Plant Based Materials & Dyes
We combine using organic plant based dyes such as avocado, turmeric, and more with natural materials such as cotton, linens, silks and more that are biodegradable and gentle on the skin. Being that skin is the largest organ in our body, we thinks it’s important that what you put on the outside is just as good as what you put on the inside.
